This logo design was for a United Methodist Church. The idea was to modernize the logo to bring a more contemporary feel, while also keeping the traditional look that the church had established for generations. Combining custom type and an illustration of the physical steeple belonging to this church felt to be the best direction for a project like this. The type is modern, yet traditional and this type paired with the steeple illustration, a symbol and beacon seen as the highest point in town to gather those near and far, make for a solid logo to bring the image of this church up to date, while keeping true to the past.
